CUPRA City Garage Madrid hosted the world premiere of Spanish Leather, Guitarricadelafuente’s second album. In an intimate gathering hosted by actor Brays Efe, the artist shared the ins and outs of the creative process, performed a previously unreleased track, and revealed the emotional and aesthetic narrative that shapes his new work.
Spanish Leather consolidates Guitarricadelafuente’s sonic universe, rooted in Spanish and Latin American folk, but reinvented from a contemporary and personal perspective. The album is a journey of maturity, identity, and desire, produced by key figures in the international scene such as Carter Lang, Raúl Refree, pablopablo, and Rodaidh McDonald, and accompanied by emerging collaborations that reflect the project’s free and generational spirit.
Coinciding with San Isidro, the presentation transformed into a Madrid street party reinterpreted in the purest CUPRA City Garage style. With DJ sets by Dichas and Foie Grass, immersive carnation projections, and the presence of authentic chulap@s, the space paid homage to one of Madrid’s most emblematic traditions. All accompanied by an exclusive cocktail, a performance by Petroni, and a few nods to the city’s most traditional culture.
Since its opening, Madrid’s CUPRA City Garage, the largest in the world, has established itself as a benchmark in the capital’s cultural agenda. Located in the heart of the Salamanca neighborhood, the space offers a diverse program encompassing music, art, design, film, gastronomy, and more, serving as a meeting point for new expressions of urban culture.
