Halloween Takeover Barcelona: 30,000 People at the Electronic Sabbath of the Year

FOUR UNIVERSES, ONE ENERGY

The Parc del Fòrum witnessed a historic night with Halloween Takeover. Thirty thousand people. Four stages. More than 35 artists. Twelve hours of music, madness and costumes in an experience that turned Barcelona into the global epicentre of dark and vibrant techno.

For the first time, elrow, Brunch Electronik and Loud-Contact joined forces in a one-of-a-kind collaboration. The result: an electronic sabbath that merged elrow’s theatrical visual world, Brunch’s sustainable and community-minded spirit, and Loud-Contact’s technical power.

The crowd wandered between parallel worlds: the terrifying universe of Horroween elrow, the melodic atmospheres of Brunch Electronik, the industrial rawness of Industry City, and the pounding energy of the Loud-Contact stage.

On stage, artists such as Andrés Campo, Fatima Hajji, Nico Moreno, Miss Monique, Luciano and Maceo Plex pushed the Fòrum’s pulse to the limit. The climax arrived with powerful closing sets: Marco Faraone at elrow, Mathame at Brunch, Nico Moreno at Industry City, and the explosive Adiel b2b Quest at Loud-Contact.

One of the most striking moments came from Industry City, which transported its iconic containers all the way from the Monegros desert, recreating a collective rave that sent the crowd into rapture. “It felt like being inside a horror film mixed with a massive rave. Absolute madness,” said one attendee on their way out, eyes still shining.

MUSIC, TOURISM & COMMUNITY

A local success, with 80% of the audience coming from Barcelona and its surroundings, and a significant economic impact on the city’s economy. “We’ve managed to create something truly unique: a large community celebrating music and creativity on the most magical night of the year,” the organizers stated.

A NEW TRADITION

Halloween Takeover is here to stay. With a historic sold-out crowd and a top-tier artistic line-up, the event marks a new chapter in Barcelona’s electronic culture.

Once again, the city proves that when four universes align — the result can only be magic.
