The track is released via Universal Music Latino and forms part of “OMAKASE”, the Puerto Rican artist’s eagerly awaited new project.
Álvaro Díaz and Latin Mafia have managed to put themselves on the Latin pop radar with “MALASNOTICIAS”, a project which, according to Rolling Stone, deserves to be in second place on its list of the most anticipated Latin albums of 2026. In Álvaro’s own words, it’s about heartbreak taken to the extreme, “like a Safdie Brothers film”: chaotic, emotional and with that feeling of emotional persecution where someone has already moved on and you haven’t.
The music video, directed by WAIV and Epho and filmed in Mexico, follows the musicians on a journey across Acapulco Bay, on a fishing trip which, far from being idyllic, visually captures the sadness and despair of a break-up that still weighs heavily on them.
