After two years of retirement from the fashion world, Raul Lopez returns to the catwalks to coincide with NYFW. For Luar’s SS22 collection, the designer has infused new pieces with his Dominican heritage.
Raul Lopez returns to the industry in style, with a transgressive collection and surprising the public once again. Setting the show in a Brooklyn car park, he presented his new designs for Luar SS22. As he himself says, he opened up to the public as an oyster would, showing its entrails up close.
All this after a two-year hiatus in which a lot has happened. The designer, who in 2005 founded Hood By Air with Shayne Oliver, decided to swap the Big Apple for Grand Cayman to find himself.
