Combining the dynamic street style of New York City with Heron Preston’s design DNA, H2 Drop 2 is the latest installment of the designer’s long-term collaboration with H&M. This drop includes menswear, womenswear and accessories, designed with a unisex approach.

H2 is a long-term initiative co-created by Heron Preston and H&M. Unveiled to the public in late 2023, the multi-faceted platform works with people, products and processes to advance the conversation about innovative yet conscious design that explores the future of fashion.

Focusing on exceptional yet pragmatic cuts and an overall versatility, H2 Drop 2 poses a series of cultural archetypes that promote a new kind of everyday clothing and encourage a more circular approach to fashion.

The line’s star styles include a variety of sporty silhouettes like a hockey jersey and a printed leather varsity jacket reminiscent of clothing found on the streets of New York City during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Other standout items include the faux-denim pink corset and matching pair of jeans, patched long sleeves crafted from cropped graphic tees, and a versatile khaki bomber jacket.

“My favorite piece from H2 Drop 2 is the reversible sweatshirt with the word “Energy” printed on the front, as it really represents the collection as a whole. The relaxed design can be worn by both men and women, but still feels really unique to the wearer when they wear it their own way,” says Heron Preston.

H2 Drop 2 features a wide offering of accessories. Text baseball caps, fitted beanies, and a studded belt are all infused with a metropolitan influence. Footwear in the collection ranges from unisex sneakers to knee-high stiletto boots with a pointed toe. Motorcycle-inspired sunglasses and lobster-claw hoop earrings add to the launch’s utilitarian aesthetic.

“The second H2 drop includes dynamic unisex pieces that can be paired with the basic styles from the first drop. In the end, it’s up to the consumer’s personal taste how they want to wear and style the pieces,” says Ana Hernandez, H&M menswear designer.

The collection will be available to purchase in selected H&M stores worldwide and on hm.com on October 17.
