Highsnobiety, one of the media at the forefront of contemporary culture, has opened its first permanent flagship shop in Berlin. Located in a historic building on Berlin’s iconic Unter den Linden avenue, the 550 square metre concept store aims to be more than just a shop, serving also as a stage for different activations and events with the objective of becoming the new place-to-be for Berlin’s new generations.
The space has been led by Chloé Techoueyres and Herbert Hofmann in collaboration with the VAUST architecture studio. The design features a sanded concrete floor, a warm grey powder-coated ceiling and columns and walls that tell the story of the building’s architecture and history. The furniture pieces customised by architecture and design studio NM3 are inspired by Highsnobiety’s concept of “The New Luxury”, blending classic aesthetics and contemporary industrial materials.
The selection of products ranges from clothing by emerging designers to established brands, as well as books, homewares, fragrances, beauty products, technology products, household products, footwear, stationery and magazines, among other things. Selected brands include fashion brands such as Acronym, Jil Sander, Marni, Maison Margiela, JW Anderson, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lemaire, Stone Island, Unimatic and many more.
