Highxtar Radar: 6 jewelry brands you need to know about right now

These six brands are redefining what it means to wear jewelry in 2025. From Brooklyn to Seoul, Paris to Madrid, discover where these pieces—which are as much art as they are accessories—come from.

1. Martine Ali

Chicago-born, New York-made. Martine Ali is one of those designers who not only creates pieces, but also creates culture. In a world where racialized women jewelers have rarely been celebrated, she has earned her place through hard work: industrial chains, wallet chains turned into necklaces, and a gritty, urban aesthetic that evokes downtown NYC. Her pieces are not linear, just like her creative process, which is closer to free jazz than classic design. Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, and Cardi B already wear her jewelry, but what’s important is how her pieces translate the raw energy of the street into something personal and powerful.

2. Charlotte Chesnais

Charlotte plays in another league: that of sculpture. Her pieces are pure curves, lines that coil around the neck, wrist, or earlobe as if they were 3D drawings. She comes from Balenciaga with Ghesquière and in 2015 launched her brand, now an absolute benchmark. She doesn’t make jewelry, she makes objects that live on the body. Elegant, futuristic, and with that instant classic energy.

3. D’Heygère

Stephanie D’heygere transforms everyday objects into surrealist jewelry. A lighter, a Bic pen, a canister that holds a cigarette or a flower: everything can be transformed into jewelry. It is the ready-made made into a necklace or earring. Her universe exudes Paris, ironic minimalism, and references to Duchamp. Awards, collaborations with Gentle Monster and Longchamp, and absolute respect for savoir-faire.

4. Steff Eleoff

It started as therapy and ended up as a viral phenomenon. With a background in sculpture and art, Steff Eleoff creates jewelry that looks liquid, inspired by water, architecture, and organic forms. Everything is handmade by her in silver, with impossible curves and an almost alien vibe. Kylie Jenner, Doja Cat, and Halle Bailey are already fans.

5. ALHAJA

From Spain, ALHAJA CULT STORE champions gold as a legacy. Everything is designed and produced here, with one foot in craftsmanship and the other in contemporary culture. Irene and María understand jewelry as an object with soul, not as a simple adornment. 18-karat gold, pieces that look like heirlooms but are totally contemporary.

6. NUMBERING

Seoul continues to export fashion, and NUMBERING is proof of that. Genderless, clean, structural jewelry that blends elegance with boldness. Each piece is numbered, as if it were part of an archive, and can be felt both on the body and in the mood. There are no seasons or trends: just Korean sophistication with its own unique stamp.
