FRIDAY 18 FEBRUARY

One more Friday, Razzmatazz turns into Fuego, the club’s clubber response to the urban music scene that has been taking place over the last few years. This time, our trusted club hosts resident Yibril and the DJ of the moment DREA. The artist is one of the most sought-after DJs on the national urban scene right now. DREA has played in clubs like CHÁ CHÁ, Antídoto or parties like Boiler Room Madrid 2022. Are you really going to miss it? You can buy tickets here. 

SATURDAY 19 FEBRUARY

Caixa Fórum ventures to explore the forces of the Earth in relation to the arts and science around the geosphere and the biosphere and their transformative impulse of the planet. This time it delves into volcanoes and landscapes from different perspectives. One of them is a mapping of enormous dimensions, the film “Radical Compromise” will also be screened, there will be an initial talk by the artist and environmentalist Paula Bruna and an audiovisual concert “Estratoclasi”. The doors of the Monumental Club open on 19 February to celebrate the Inaugural Ball, a party to kick off the new 2022 season. It will be a day of music, with the usual selection of food trucks, activities for the whole family in the mornings of Monumental Kids, and dancing and fun from 12pm to 10pm. The kick-off will be provided by Bernarda and Chaqueta de Chándal, as well as a DJ set by Benoist Grenier. Get your tickets here. 

SUNDAY 20 FEBRUARY

In the exhibition “The tradition that runs through us”, twenty artists attempt to answer the question “How do we deal today with the tradition that runs through us and wounds us? Through works of experimental art and collective creation, the artists take a look at the past and investigate it in order to understand our present. The works are very diverse and address issues such as Barcelona’s colonial past, private gentlemen’s clubs, the rigidity of the theatrical tradition and the meanings hidden in the decorative objects in our homes.
