Last year, Fujiwara had already put his stamp on the iconic nostalgic toy with a special release. The Tamagotchi Gen. 1 FRGMT Edition was presented in its distinctive round casing, with a rim imitating a cracked eggshell, and three buttons under its screen. The FRGMT logo was placed above the white-toned screen, complementing the device’s other colour details.
The new edition picks up on the design of the previous release, but with one key difference: while the previous version had a matte finish and rubber texture, this iteration arrives with a glossy look. While no official release date has yet been announced, Fujiwara hinted in his caption that this new glossy version could be available very soon.
