HONEY F*CKING DIJON X ACNE STUDIOS: the second issue is here

Acne Studios announces its second collaboration with Honey F*cking Dijon. The collection features unisex styles inspired by disco from the 70s & 80s.

Acne Studios(@acnestudios) launches the second capsule collection with DJ and Producer Honey Dijon(@honeydijon). The limited edition line features an evolution of the relationship between the DJ’s eponymous label and Acne Studios.

The collection gives continuity to the ideas presented in the previous installment of FW21. The Swedish brand’s iconic archive pieces are reinterpreted by Dijon with unique colors that identify it. In this way, the proposal expounds the values of club culture that beyond entertainment imply a sense of community. The DJ and the brand explore the existing dress codes in spaces ranging from underground clubs in New York to dance halls.

As a result of this search, we find a bomber, jumpsuit, and plexiglass mules, all in lilac, emerald green, and bright fuchsia. “I was inspired by mail-order catalogs from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Many of the key pieces are genderless and meant for travel or partying.” The plexiglass shoe will be made up to size 46, as the heels are also intended to be worn interchangeably by all genders.

The new Honey Dijon collection for acne studios is available today at acnestudios.com, in all stores and in HFD stores worldwide.

Devon Aoki is the face of Acne Studios SS23 campaign.
