The “Jalisco” is a split toe “Derby Oxford” with a Cuban heel. Although at first glance it may appear to be a classic dress shoe, Willy Chavarria and Allen Edmonds defies gender and social norms, transforming it into a new “non-formal” fashion icon. With a contoured heel and gold “W.C.” initials embossed on each pair, this design is the SATC Samantha version of the Oxford.
“I’ve always admired the quality and craftsmanship of Allen Edmonds, but what really impressed me was the talent of the craftsmen in Port Washington,” says Willy. “I never imagined that a luxury shoe of this calibre could be created here at home.” The shoe will debut at Willy Chavarria’s SS25 runway show and will be available in select Allen Edmonds shops in spring 2025.
Each piece is made in Peru with fine Pima cotton thread and hand-finished in New York.
