With the arrival of spring, blusher and highlighter will be our allies. Their ability to give that ‘good face’ effect and to tint our cheeks without the need to have sunbathed, make them a must this season. Beauty content creator Alissa Janay has echoed this and created the ‘Sunset Blush’ effect, the new viral beauty trend on TikTok.

To recreate this look, you need two shades of liquid blusher and a liquid highlighter. Take a pink and orange blusher and start by applying two dots of the pink shade first, followed by two dots of the orange shade. Next, apply a dab of the highlighter just above the dots of blush, but make sure not to overlap the products. Finally, gently blend the products together and bring the blusher up.

The influencer explained the products she used to recreate this sunset-inspired make-up look. Alissa Janay used e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo Liquid Blush in the shades “Comin in Hot Pink” and “Gorg Orange”. She also used Milani Cosmetics Strobelight Liquid Illuminator in the shade “Pure Gold” to add that touch of light. Finish the look with an eye-liner, glossy lips and a natural brow.
