CATCH YOUR BREATH, the latest offering from the skincare brand led by Pharrell Williams, was unveiled in Cala Jondal.
A genuine moment of connection occurred this summer on the southern coast of Ibiza, through an installation that redefined self-care as an unprecedented sensory experience. Far from the noise of the island’s high season, Humanrace transformed the landscape into a sanctuary of well-being by erecting a mirrored cubicle that seemed to disappear among the rocks and the sea, reflecting its surroundings.
The idea revolves around immersion in cold water, an ancient practice reinterpreted as a metaphor for rebirth and resilience. A glacial pause in the middle of summer that, curiously, warms the soul, lifts the spirits, recharges energy, and activates body awareness.
The space was developed in collaboration with Brass Monkey, experts in immersive experience design, and complemented by breathing sessions led by Pol Cejas, adidas trainer. The three-stripe sports giant, a partner of Humanrace, also dressed attendees in customised swimsuits and towels for the occasion.
The special experience began with an intimate meal at Particular, where a select circle of friends of the brand celebrated the connection between body, design, and mind. Among them were Evan Mock, Darren Star, Biel Juste, Rose Bertram, Caro Daur, and Paola Locatelli.
Following Milan Design Week and now with this second stop in Ibiza, Humanrace demonstrates that its language goes far beyond skincare. This autumn, the installation will continue its journey with new activations alongside adidas at different locations around the world. New destinations, new rituals, same intention: to design tools for living well.
