Ice Spice takes over the New York Subway

A total of 50,000 MTA MetroCards featuring the Bronx-born rapper have been distributed on public transport in the city.

After teaming up with Universal Music Enterprises and celebrating hip-hop’s 50th anniversary with four different underground passes featuring LL Cool J, Rakim, Cam’ron and Pop Smoke, the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) is now focusing on Ice Spice and handing out 50,000 limited edition cards featuring her image. On it, the young rapper appears wearing a Versace Baby T-shirt and black leather trousers.

MetroCards will only be distributed at four strategic stops in New York City: Fordham Rd for the 3 and B/D trains; 34th-Penn Station for the A/C/E lines and Times Square Station, and will be available while supplies last.

And speaking of hip-hop… The exhibition ‘Ice Cold: The Exhibition of Hip-Hop Jewelry’ has landed at the American Museum of Natural Story.
