The iconic 6-Inch boot is reinterpreted by the creative collective founded by photographer and director Renell Medrano.
Timberland once again challenges traditional codes with a powerful new collaboration with Ice Studios, blending Renell‘s Dominican heritage with the brand’s unmistakable craftsmanship.
This special encounter revolves around a silhouette that breaks boundaries: crafted from soft-textured waterproof suede, with refined finishes and a genderless character that challenges the classic notion of the boot as a symbol of masculinity. Mineral tones lend calm and sophistication, while the ice-blue sole introduces a vibrant contrast that transforms the design into a visual manifesto of innovation and heritage.
‘Having grown up in the Bronx, Timberland has always been a staple in my wardrobe, and this collaboration is something I’ve always dreamed of,’ says the acclaimed creative. ‘I’m thrilled to finally be able to share it with the world, especially from a female perspective. It’s important to highlight how women wear Timberland, as the brand has played a significant role in New York culture, which is often dominated by men. I’m excited to showcase the strength and style of women through this iconic brand.’
The campaign, photographed by Renell herself, features Eve and serves as a natural extension of her creative universe. Her lens captures the intimate and the everyday with a cinematic flair that transforms each image into an unprecedented cultural narrative, charged with authenticity, identity, belonging and emotion.
The launch is scheduled for 4 September via timberland.com and selected physical retail outlets.
