The partnership between The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen returns this season with a re-edition that makes something clear: romance and resistance can speak the same language. First unveiled in Paris, everything suggests that the Audrey Base Camp Duffel and the Maria Base Camp Clutch — now in taupe green — will become cult objects.

The Danish designer once again projects her romantic gaze onto TNF’s expedition classics. Where extreme functionality once prevailed, Bahnsen introduces embossed embroidery, closures turned into jewellery-like details, and an air of controlled fragility.

The Audrey Base Camp Duffel retains its robustness and capacity for any journey. However, it softens thanks to artisanal applications that blur its utilitarian lines. The Maria Base Camp Clutch, meanwhile, condenses the idea of travel on a more intimate scale. It is a compact, romantic and resistant bag at the same time. In addition, both models come with co-branded accessories that reinforce the collection-as-jewel narrative.

Prices range between 250 and 400 USD. The collection with Cecilie Bahnsen will be available from 12 September at selected The North Face stores worldwide. In Asia, the key destination will be the concept store at K11 Art Mall in Hong Kong.
