Instagram has introduced the ability to upload content to Feed and Reels exclusively for the Best Friends list, just like Stories and Notes. To celebrate, those with a Best Friends list will find an easter egg when they open Instagram today: the “+” button will transform into the green Best Friends star.
This new feature has been added to Instagram because company officials are aware that Best Friends is a space where people who use the platform express themselves more freely. Instagram hopes that this new feature will allow people to be much more authentic, while giving them more options to decide who sees their content.
This way you can upload content for your Best Friends in the Feed and Reels:
- Before sharing a post or a Reel, click on the Audience button, choose Best Friends and click “Share”.
- Your post or Reel will appear in your Best Friends’ feeds and will be marked with a green star.
- Your Best Friends list will be the same for posts, Reels, Stories and Notes. To create or edit a BFF list, you can follow these steps.
