Instagram launches its new feature that allows you to add a song to your profile

Instagram has just launched a new feature to help you express yourself through music, allowing you to add a song to your profile so you can show your mood. Specifically, it allows you to add 30 seconds of a song chosen by the user, which can be heard on their profile until they change the song or delete it. It should be noted that it will not play automatically, but rather you have to click on it to play it.

In addition, for this launch, Instagram has partnered with singer Sabrina Carpenter who has previewed her unreleased song Taste on her profile. Fans will be able to hear it for the first time by checking out her account, as it will not be published anywhere else until the full album Short n’ Sweet is released.

The application has also incorporated Easter eggs so that Sabrina fans can continue having fun with their friends. For example, your Notes will turn baby blue (with a kissy face) when you mention any of the following Sabrina-related words, among others: “Sabrina” or “Sabrina Carpenter,” “espresso,” or “i’m working late cause I’m a singer.”

The platform has also begun testing a new rectangular format for the profile grid.
