INVINCIBLE® celebrates 15th anniversary in partnership with Carhartt WIP

For its 15th anniversary, INVINCIBLE® has joined forces with Carhartt WIP to design a 7-piece capsule collection.

For its 15th anniversary, INVINCIBLE® has joined forces with Carhartt WIP to design a 7-piece capsule collection.

Based on the idea of the constant evolution and reinvention of timeless classics, INVINCIBLE® has worked with Japanese designer Shinsuke Nakada, renowned for his work that recaptures elements of classic America and reinterprets the DNA of brands to offer new perspectives.

For this occasion, Nakada transforms Carhartt WIP‘s utilitarian archetypes into a series of garments inspired by outdoor gear and Taiwanese shrimping culture.

Throughout the collection, the garments feature a loose, loose fit and a variety of functional elements including synthetic twill fabrics, multi-pocket constructions and mesh linings.

The classic Chore Coat, for example, is reinvented with a detachable hood and two back patch pockets with belt loop detailing, while the zip pocket detailing is inspired by the brand‘s Michigan coat.

The Double Knee trousers, on the other hand, have been redesigned to a looser silhouette, including adjustable drawstrings at the waist and leg and also a tool pocket.

These characteristic elements are repeated throughout the collection in various garments such as the relaxed-fit shirt jacket, a crew-neck sweatshirt and hooded sweatshirt, and the pocket T-shirt. Finally, a hat with a single button pocket has also been designed.

All garments feature the woven square Carhartt WIP label, complemented by embroidery depicting the INVINCIBLE® tornado logo.

The Carhartt WIP x INVINCIBLE® collection with Shinsuke Nakada is now available on both brands’ websites as well as in their physical boutiques.
