J Balvin takes his style and love of pop culture to a new level with his collaboration with JOOPITER, the auction platform created by Pharrell. The event, entitled J Balvin Pa La Cultura, is much more than a sale of exclusive items: it is a unique opportunity to delve into the personal universe of the reggaetonero, who is making available to collectors some of the rarest pieces from his private collection.
The auction presents a selection ranging from fine jewellery, iconic trainers and luxury accessories to works of art and sculptures by renowned artists and designers. Among the names featured are Louis Vuitton, Jacob & Co, Ben Baller, Nike, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Supreme, and artists Takashi Murakami, Louis De Guzman x Modernica, and Matt Gondek. In addition, there is no shortage of pieces that pay homage to pop culture, such as the collaborations with The Simpsons and SpongeBob SquarePants, which have marked a before and after in the world of streetwear.
But it’s not just trainers and clothes that make up the auction. J Balvin also includes six original pieces from his latest project, the Vita Veloce Team (VVT), a design line created in collaboration with Italian designer Mattias Gollin. These exclusive pieces, developed together with artists such as Bogdan Plakov, The Pink Lemonade, Gaetano di Dio, NM3 and MSCHF’s Lucas and Arya, are presented to the public for the first time in this auction, making them a real gem for collectors.
Don’t miss this auction which will be open from 2 to 12 December through JOOPITER.
