The French brand lands in the heart of Los Angeles with a very special boutique.
After having conquered Paris, Saint-Tropez and any city that crosses his path, Simon Porte Jacquemus now settles in West Hollywood and opens ‘The Los Angeles Boutique’: a space that, more than a store, is a house, a gallery, an intimate diary in the form of brick, linen and terracotta.
Located at the iconic 8800 Melrose Avenue, the new 255 sqm boutique is an ode to rustic design with a Mediterranean spirit, staying true to the designer’s obsessions and roots. A home where olive trees and lavender greet visitors as if they were stepping into Provence… but with a California filter.
This new creative haven draws directly from Simon‘s personal imagery. The brand describes it as ‘intimate and generous’, and you only have to step inside to understand why: terracotta floors that crunch stylishly underfoot, limestone clay stucco walls that breathe warmth, and a 10-metre yellow linen sofa that becomes the focal point of the place.
The decoration is based on small vintage treasures: mid-century calendars, antique vases, commissioned ceramics, Jean Royère chaise longues and even a Frank Lloyd Wright lamp… A real dream.
