Jacquemus and Nike present their après ski collection

We’ve never been so excited for winter.

Jacquemus and Nike have just unveiled their après-ski collection, and they’ve basically reinvented the idea of dressing for the snow. There are no soulless technical garments or textbook alpine aesthetics here; this is glamour in the purest Jacquemus style, with French fantasy thrown into the mix. The campaign blends two worlds: the warm interior of a retro chalet in the mountains and the brilliant brutality of the alpine exterior.

The images play with this contrast. Inside, wooden panels, bourgeois carpeting, and a black-on-black aesthetic transform the models into characters from a film shot in St. Moritz. Outside, icy light, endless snow, and garments that seem to cut through the landscape as if they were made to dominate it. The tight-fitting jumpsuits refine the body into an aerodynamic line; the parkas with oversized shoulders have that Jacquemus-esque exaggeration that makes you think they would also work on the street; and the technical goggles are pure celebrity avoidance energy, perfect for skiing but also for dodging flashes.

Then there are the furry boots, which look like a cross between a stylish yeti and a 2000s editorial. They don’t try to be discreet, nor do they need to.

Throughout the collection, there is a tension between the very classic and the technical, the sporty; a mix that, editorially speaking, is perfect. And that’s precisely where the collaboration finds its sweet spot: Nike provides the engineering, Jacquemus provides the aesthetic vision.

Beyond aesthetics, the collection captures something that has defined Jacquemus for years: the idea that any setting—be it a field, a stadium, or a ski slope—can become fashionable if viewed from the right angle. Here, the mountain is not a sporting destination, it is a film set. It doesn’t matter if you’re actually going skiing or if the closest you’ve ever been to snow is your laptop wallpaper: this collection works either way. It’s designed for stepping into a resort, having a hot drink, and looking like you’ve escaped from a 90s campaign that never existed. It’s technical without sacrificing sexiness. It’s performance without sacrificing fashion.

Jacquemus and Nike have done it again: they’ve found a space where their two languages intersect without stepping on each other’s toes. An après ski that’s not just sport or just style, but a way of introducing yourself to winter by saying, “Yes, it’s cold, but let’s see who wears it with the most attitude.”

Jacquemus unveiled its new bag, ‘Le Valèrie’.
