Jacquemus and other brands collaborate on a charity T-shirt for Maui

A series of uncontrollable fires swept through Maui on August 8, displacing thousands of residents and wreaking havoc on the historic coastal community of Lahaina.

This wildfire has become the deadliest wildfire in the United States in more than a century. Three weeks after the devastation, the exact death toll has yet to be confirmed, remaining at 115 for several days.

Brands such as Brain Dead, Jacquemus and Cactus Plant Flea Market have joined in support of the “Maui On My Mind” fundraising initiative to provide immediate financial assistance to those affected by the fires that ravaged the Hawaiian island.

To help do so, Hawaii-based creative studio passionfruit has collaborated with the aforementioned brands and 14 others to create a collaborative T-shirt designed by Hawaii-based Kapono Chung of Combo. The other brands that have joined the collaboration are Adish, Barragan, Combo, ECOCYCLE, Hawthorne, Kaiao Space, Luar, Mauna Loa, Moon Collective, No. 808, Salvage Public, Sig Zane and Waialae Sportswear.
