Jaguar launches exclusive limited edition F-TYPE

The iconic Jaguar E-Type sports cars of the 1960s have served as the inspiration for the new limited edition F-TYPE ZP model.

Jaguar launches exclusive limited edition F-TYPE

Jaguar commemorates the end of its internal combustion engine sports car lineage in 2024 with an exclusive limited edition F-TYPE inspired by two iconic E-Types from the 1960s.

Only 150 F-TYPE ZP Edition cars will be produced, and they will be the last internal combustion-engined sports cars designed by Jaguar. These 575bhp F-TYPE V8 supercharged petrol-engined F-TYPE ZPs feature interior and exterior details specially selected by the personalisation experts at SV Bespoke.

Rawdon Glover, Managing Director of Jaguar, said: “As Jaguar embarks on its boldest ever transformation to become an all-electric modern luxury brand from 2025, we pay a unique tribute to Jaguar’s internal combustion sports cars”.

“El F-TYPE ha cautivado a los conductores de deportivos durante más de una década, al igual que hizo el E-TYPE cinco décadas antes. La edición ZP es la celebración definitiva de ese linaje, y entra a engrosar la ilustre lista de ediciones de coleccionista inspiradas en el legado, entre las que se encuentran el Project 7 de 2015 y el Heritage 60 Edition de 2020”.

The edition is available in two colour combinations reminiscent of the first race-winning ‘Project ZP’ E-TYPEs whose campaign was launched shortly after the model’s launch in 1961: Oulton Blue Gloss with Mars Red and Ebony two-tone leather interior, or Crystal Grey Gloss with Navy Blue and Ebony two-tone leather interior. In both cases, the doors feature automotive-style circumferences hand-painted in Porcelain White Gloss and the grille surround in Porcelain White Gloss.

This is the first time an F-TYPE model has offered these exterior paint colours. These colours match the two specially formulated paint schemes for seven pairs of E-TYPE Project ZP Collection vehicles announced by Jaguar Classic earlier this year.

Unique horizontally-ribbed seat interiors, Gloss Black exterior accents and Gloss Black brake calipers complement the unique F-TYPE ZP Edition badge detailing on the wings, 20-inch Gloss Black mirror-polished forged alloy wheels, running boards and dashboard. Each car comes with an exclusive SV Bespoke badge that reads “1 of 150”.

The F-TYPE, which in 2013 received the World Car Design of the Year award, continues to set the benchmark for driver-oriented sports cars, with the distinctive sound of the V8 engine. The exhaust note is so iconic that it is preserved in the archives of institutions such as the British Library.

The F-TYPE ZP Edition is available in Coupe and Convertible bodystyles. With 575 hp, 700 Nm of torque and an Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) all-wheel drive system, it delivers exceptional performance on all surfaces and in all weather conditions: 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 300 km/h (186 mph).
