Jay-Z and Beyonce may have bought Biggie’s iconic crown

Over the last few days we have seen a photo of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter posing with her Grammy award and a crown identical to Biggie’s “King Of New York”. 

On Sunday 14 March, Blue Ivy became the second youngest person to win a Grammy Award. The 9-year-old won the trophy for being part of the music video ‘Brown Skin Girl’ and, although she didn’t attend the gala, Beyonce shared the celebration on her Instagram profile. It is none other than the “King Of New York” crown that The Notorious B.I.G. wore during his last photo shoot, which was recently auctioned off for $594,750. All indications are that Beyonce and Jay-Z are behind this historic acquisition.
