BLACKPINK’s undisputed star Jennie has just officially announced Ruby, her highly anticipated debut solo album, which will be released on 7 March on ODDATELIER/Columbia Records. With this release, the South Korean artist promises to take another step forward in her already iconic career, delivering a unique ‘sonic experience’ that spans a wide range of genres and sonorities, as revealed in the official press release.
Ruby will feature a total of 15 tracks, including the lead single Mantra, as well as exciting collaborations with big names in international music such as Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ and Kali Uchis. This album is a true statement of intent, where Jennie reinvents herself and demonstrates her power as a global, solid and multifaceted force.
The release will not only be available on streaming platforms, but will also feature several physical editions, including two photo albums, a digipack CD and a Target exclusive version. As if that wasn’t enough, all physical products will come with a special Jennie Only Audio edition, which will feature the album with all her own vocals, leaving aside collaborations to let her solo talent shine.
