This season, the designers have collaborated with technology pioneer Jeff Mills to create a contemporary atmosphere that defies gender barriers without losing the minimalist essence of the brand.
Jil Sander’s FW23 collection is presented as an ode to self-expression, where gender fusion is key. Lucie and Luke Meier express their desire to embrace openness, sharing and cross-pollination, mixing elements from the female and male closets to create an authentic space for self-expression.
The campaign captured in Manchester conveys a sense of freedom, sincerity and modernity in the imagery. The colors that dominate the collection are vibrant and diverse, from crimson to stone grey, through shades such as honeysuckle, flamingo, dusty sage and tangerine. These colors are masterfully combined with the textures, prints and shapes of the FW23 garments, which include outerwear, tailoring, dresses and more.
