Jonathan Anderson will be the costume designer for Artificial, Luca Guadagnino new film about artificial intelligence. This marks their third collaboration following Queer and Challengers.
Anderson, who also leads his own label JW Anderson and the Dior line, confirmed his involvement on Instagram, expressing his enthusiasm for working with Guadagnino again. His nomination for the Costume Designers Guild Awards for Challengers adds to the anticipation surrounding his work on Artificial.
Artificial is a dramedy loosely inspired by the story of OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, exploring controversies within the big tech industry. The cast includes Andrew Garfield, Yura Borisov, and Monica Barbaro.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon MGM is fast-tracking production with the support of Heyday Films and aims to begin filming this summer in San Francisco and various locations yet to be confirmed in Italy.
