Jonathan Anderson continúa escribiendo la historia de LOEWE con un nuevo capítulo que se presenta como una especie de álbum de recortes donde ha ido almacenando todos sus momentos y recuerdos. Es así como celebra la interacción entre lo nuevo y lo antiguo, lo personal y lo universal, estableciendo una fuerte y especial conexión entre la moda y el arte como solamente él sabe hacerlo.
Y para ello ha decidido darle rienda suelta a su imaginario, donde la moda no solo se viste, sino que se vive y se siente como una obra de arte en constante transformación. En esta ocasión ha contado con algunas de sus memorias personales y las ha fusionado con la tradición de la Casa. El trompe-l’oeil, los volúmenes distorsionados y las escalas juegan un papel crucial en esta colección donde se explora una nueva dimensión que trasciende lo físico.
In collaboration with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation, Jonathan Anderson explores the concept of memory and heritage and brings back the geometric shapes and blocks of colour from Josef Albers‘ “Homage to the Square” series. New iterations of some of LOEWE‘s most iconic bags, such as the Puzzle, the Flamenco Clutch and the Amazona, are born. Meanwhile, Anne Albers‘ fabrics bring a new tactile dimension to coats and accessories, visually manifesting how art and craftsmanship delicately intertwine to offer an unprecedented sensory experience.
LOEWE‘s FW25 collection stands out, above all, for playing with gender fluidity. In a space where men’s and women’s fashion meet and merge naturally, architectural shapes are softened and provoke the evolution of the silhouette. Leather is cut, draped and elongated; knitwear is inflated and gives way to rounded shapes; wardrobe basics are boldly reinvented…
No one wanted to miss this special meeting, held in the VII arrondissement of Paris, which was attended by important personalities and friends of the House such as Stéphane Bak, Úrsula Corberó, Jamie Dornan, Pedro Almodóvar, Milena Smit, Amina Muaddi and Aron Piper, among many others.
