Julia Fox surprised people in mid-May by stating that she had been celibate for no less than two and a half years. A decision that, if you think about it, she had taken just after dating Kanye West for a short period of time, a relationship from which she herself said she had been scalded. Now, however, the actress, singer, model and writer has taken advantage of a TikTok video to come out of the wardrobe, affirming not only that she is a lesbian but that, as Britney Spears has also announced almost at the same time, she does not plan to go out with a man again for the rest of her life.
The current host of fashion show OMG Fashun has responded to the latest video on the aforementioned social network by comedian and influencer Emily Gracin, in which she talks about how much she loves the irony of continually seeing “that lesbian with the boyfriend” next to her, about those women who haven’t yet realised their sexuality. “It’s like, ‘Agh, but you hate that man,” Gracin joked in one of her recent posts. And Julia Fox has used that video and, filming herself walking down the street in sunglasses, has responded: “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. “I’m so sorry, guys. It won’t happen again,” she finished.
The artist married racing driver Peter Artemiev in 2018, in a ceremony in Las Vegas, although their divorce was finalised in 2020. Still, it was with him that she had her only son Valentino, 3, as he was born after her parents broke up, in January 2021. Her next partner was Kanye, with whom she briefly dated in the early months of 2022 and whom she considers to have been a “dark fantasy”, as their romance degenerated into a situation of domination, a “sick and twisted game” that she is grateful to be able to get out of.
