‘Un Ratito Más Festival’ will transform Madrid into the ultimate meeting point for Latin music and Puerto Rican culture.
Coinciding with Bad Bunny‘s concerts in the city, from June 15 to 30, La Gran Cucaracha will offer a total of ten nights of programming split between Florida Park and El Internacional, where ‘Un Ratito Más Festival’ will expand the La Cucaracha universe into a larger-scale experience.
Club culture, live music, collective dancing, and Caribbean rhythms will converge in the same space thanks to an impeccable line-up and a program that is nearly 100% Latin and deeply connected to Puerto Rico. More than 70% of the participating artists have a direct connection to the island, reinforcing the project’s cultural character and its commitment to artistic exchange through authenticity and community celebration.
Among the standout names on the bill are essential figures for understanding the history of reggaeton and the evolution of Latin urban music, such as DJ Playero and DJ Negro—absolute pioneers of the genre responsible for building the foundations of the sound that would redefine global music from Puerto Rico.
Other notable acts include GUTS, who will present a DJ set focused on rare grooves and tropical sounds, and Caleb Calloway, who will bring a selection centered on Caribbean music and classic perreo to the festival. They are joined by selectors and producers such as Saox, David B, and Marcos Boricua.
As for showcases and special performances, the stage and booth will feature artists like Raquel Buscabulla, Çantamarta in DJ set format, Tu Ex, Payola, Karla Mercedes, Jean Franco, Miss Aleta, and Cami Layé Okún. Straight from PR comes Plena Libre, an absolute benchmark of contemporary Caribbean music, alongside groups like Pleneros del Exilio, Oscar Dudamel, Pachito Melao, and resident projects like Son de Cuba and Atempo.
Caribe Mami will lead the choreography and entertainment for ‘Un Ratito Más Festival’, while Nannette Mariela is behind the graphic identity for this edition.
In just one year, La Cucaracha has established itself as one of the most relevant cultural phenomena in Madrid’s nightlife, and this new format expands its community without losing focus on intimacy, dancing, and the blending of scenes. With surprise showcases still to be announced and a program spanning salsa, plena, merengue, classic reggaeton, and contemporary Latin sounds, ‘Un Ratito Más Festival’ is set to become one of the major cultural events this summer in Madrid.
The festival also has our support and that of adidas, Bershka Music, VICIO, and Vandall Kerri, who will be driving some of the scene’s most significant gatherings.
Tickets are now available through DICE.
