CHANEL has announced the appointment of Jung Kook as its new Global Fragrance and Beauty Ambassador, a move that marks a new chapter in the Maison’s image and reinforces its commitment to creativity, self-expression and dialogue with new generations.
The announcement comes at a key moment in the South Korean artist’s career, as he has established himself as one of the most influential figures on the global music scene. A singer, songwriter and member of BTS, Jung Kook has developed a career that combines commercial success and international recognition, both in his solo work and within the group.

His talent, artistic journey and commitment to self-expression embody the essence of our Maison,” said Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Creative Director of Fragrances and Beauty at CHANEL, who also highlighted his ability to inspire a new generation through bold creative choices.
His most recognised solo songs include Euphoria, My Time and Still With You, as well as international collaborations with artists such as Lauv and Charlie Puth. As a songwriter, he has contributed to several BTS tracks, including Your Eyes Tell, Stay from the album BE and Run BTS from the album Proof.
In 2022, Jung Kook was one of the performers of Dreamers, the official soundtrack of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, which he performed during the opening ceremony. A year later, in July 2023, he released his first solo single, Seven (feat. Latto), which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and Spotify’s global chart, as well as being certified platinum by the RIAA. This release was followed by 3D (feat. Jack Harlow) and his first solo album, GOLDEN, released in November 2023.
Chanel’s 2026/27 cruise collection will be presented in Biarritz.
