SKYLRK enters the sneaker game.
SKYLRK, driven by Justin Bieber, embarks on a new creative chapter. The preview of this new model marks a clear shift from the brand’s previous identity. After gaining attention with voluminous slides and futuristic mules, the label now moves decisively into athletic footwear with its first low-profile sneaker.
Drawing direct inspiration from retro football boots and technical trainers, the design balances heritage with performance. A flat, understated sole nods to terrace culture and indoor football footwear, while the upper is crafted from breathable mesh to deliver lightness and comfort.
The most striking element lies in the overlays. Wavy, embossed structures produced through 3D printing wrap around the midfoot and heel. These sculptural components enhance the contrast between a classic silhouette and a forward-looking, technological approach.
For this debut, SKYLRK has revealed three colourways. One pairs white and black with a brown gum sole, while another opts for a clean, monochromatic cream finish. A third iteration features an all-black upper, once again complemented by a gum sole.
At present, SKYLRK has not confirmed a release date or retail price for the sneaker. With this move, the brand aims to broaden its reach through a more versatile proposition aligned with contemporary sports footwear—an important step that opens a new chapter in its evolution within the world of footwear.
