Karl Lagerfeld Jeans launches collaboration with Atelier Reservé

KARL LAGERFELD JEANS present their collaboration with Atelier Reservé, an Amsterdam-based niche brand that creates garments from repurposed materials and carefully selected second-hand fabrics. Fusing its unique aesthetic with the urban style of KARL LAGERFELD JEANS, the garments will give a second life to fabrics that would otherwise end up in landfill.

‘Karl was always open to new ideas – he embraced challenges, broke the rules and collaborated with unexpected partners resulting in extraordinary creations,’ says Hun Kim, Creative Director of KARL LAGERFELD. ‘This season, we are excited to partner with Atelier Reservé, a young, innovative and talented duo based in Amsterdam with a focus on sustainability. Together, we have created a fantastic collaboration with KARL LAGERFELD JEANS’.

The capsule includes 14 tailored styles, combining vintage and modern elements for a distinctive result. The range includes a utility jacket and trousers, baggy jeans, a hoodie and t-shirts, plus a denim corset and a women’s denim skirt. Accessories include a beanie, canvas bag, cap, hobo bag and laptop sleeve.

‘This capsule collection takes a bold and non-conformist route, inspired by our interpretation of the iconic designer KARL LAGERFELD,’ say Alljan Moehamad and Deyrinio Fraenk, Co-Founders of Atelier Reservé. ‘Collaborating with KARL LAGERFELD JEANS has been a pleasure, as their commitment to innovation and dedication aligns perfectly with our own values.’

Some pieces include an original artwork featuring a portrait of Karl Lagerfeld, under the slogan ‘Lové Karl’. It symbolises the collaboration and mutual admiration between the two brands, accentuated with a unique nod to the Reservé aesthetic.

The collaboration also focuses on the KARL CARES strategy, an ongoing process in all business areas of KARL LAGERFELD and KARL LAGERFELD JEANS. The strategy exemplifies how the brands approach and track their corporate social responsibility across three core pillars: the people they work with, the planet they resource and the partners they collaborate with.

The KARL LAGERFELD JEANS X Atelier Reservé collection will be available from 14 November 2024 at the KARL LAGERFELD JEANS shop in Madrid, as well as on KARL.COM and exclusively through Zalando.
