The magazine, formerly under Vice Media, will now be run by Kloss through its parent company, Bedford Media.
Karlie is no stranger to the business world, as she also led a group of investors that included the likes of Kaia Gerber and Lewis Hamilton in acquiring W magazine in 2020 with Bustle Media Group as publisher.
The new transaction will be conducted through Bedford Media, Kloss’ parent company, which will now also become the parent company of i-D Magazine. Karlie will fill the roles of CEO of i-D and President of Bedford Media, marking her presence in the strategic direction of both companies. Meanwhile, Alastair McKimm, i-D’s current Editor-in-Chief, will fill the roles of Creative Director and Global Editor-in-Chief of the brand.
