The renowned model and entrepreneur takes on the role of CEO when she buys the British fashion and culture magazine i-D Magazine.

Karlie Kloss acquires i-D Magazine

The magazine, formerly under Vice Media, will now be run by Kloss through its parent company, Bedford Media.

Karlie is no stranger to the business world, as she also led a group of investors that included the likes of Kaia Gerber and Lewis Hamilton in acquiring W magazine in 2020 with Bustle Media Group as publisher.

The new transaction will be conducted through Bedford Media, Kloss’ parent company, which will now also become the parent company of i-D Magazine. Karlie will fill the roles of CEO of i-D and President of Bedford Media, marking her presence in the strategic direction of both companies. Meanwhile, Alastair McKimm, i-D’s current Editor-in-Chief, will fill the roles of Creative Director and Global Editor-in-Chief of the brand.

In other fashion news, Gucci will donate sales of the Signoria Rosso Slingback to an NGO.
