Karol G's “Tropicoqueta” permeates Diesel's imagination

Glenn Martens chooses the Latin superstar to present his new and exclusive capsule collection.

Capturing the essence of ‘Tropicoqueta’, Karol G‘s latest album, a collection of nine pieces emerges that celebrate the Colombian singer’s music and personality. All of this is combined with the rebellious, liberal and daring spirit of Diesel, where each piece reflects an exquisite tropical visual world.

The colour palette focuses on intense orange and lotus and coconut flower prints, while the graphics and typography evoke the aesthetic of the album. Among the most notable designs are a metallic bikini, a one-piece swimsuit and a knitted dress, all adorned with lotus flowers strategically placed on the female body.

A floral T-shirt is printed with the phrase LATINA FOREVA, while the denim line includes a grey biker jacket and trousers with silver and gold mylar details. The collection is completed with a baseball cap, orange sunglasses and, of course, a new version of the Double-D bag designed by Karol G.

I’ve loved the brand for a long time, so bringing the world of Tropicoqueta to fashion with them came at the perfect time.’
