The summer of 2026 is shaping up to be a big one for hip-hop fans in Spain. Kanye West — now known as Ye — has announced a highly anticipated concert in Madrid that will mark his return to Spanish stages after two decades without performing in the country. The rapper will land on 30 July 2026 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, in what will be his only show in Spain as part of his European tour. The news comes at a particularly curious time for Ye. Between a new album that seems reluctant to see the light of day, statements that rarely go unnoticed, and recent public apologies, the artist is once again putting music at the centre of the conversation… at least for now.

During the concert, the audience will be able to hear some of the most iconic songs of his career, such as Power, Only One, BOMB and Runaway, songs that sum up different eras of one of the most influential —and controversial— artists of the 21st century. With a catalogue that mixes genius, excess and moments of introspection, Ye continues to draw thousands of fans to his albums and shows. Madrid joins other European cities on the tour, such as Reggio Emilia, Arnhem and Marseille, establishing itself as a key stop on the artist’s continental tour in 2026.

For those who want to secure a place in the stadium, the organisers have set up a pre-sale system via online registration. Those interested should sign up via the Yemadrid.com website and complete a short questionnaire. After registering, they will receive further information at the email address they have provided. Pre-sales will begin on 10 March at 10:00, when the fastest fans will be able to try to get tickets before the general sale.

For now, the official prices for Madrid have not yet been confirmed, although based on other concerts on the European tour, such as the one in Reggio Emilia, Italy, they could be approximately between £100 and £659, excluding booking fees. The final details will be announced shortly through official channels. In the meantime, anticipation continues to grow. With Ye, you never know exactly what will happen, but one thing is clear—when he appears on stage, the show (musical or media) is practically guaranteed.

Kanye West apologises… and two days later announces an album: what’s behind the deal with Gamma.
