The summer couldn’t end without him. KAYTRANADA announced on Instagram yesterday that his new album ‘AIN’T NO DAMN WAY’ will be released this Friday, 15 August, on all streaming platforms. The first single, “SPACE INVADER”, is already here.
According to the official statement, the album marks a return to his dance roots, featuring instrumental tracks designed for the dancefloor. Shimmering synthesizers, retro grooves — everything you need to keep moving.
In an interview last year, KAYTRANADA explained that his inspiration comes from disco songs that are heartbreak anthems but still make you want to dance. He said he has always loved tracks with powerful instrumentation — bass, strings, drums — and long emotional breakdowns; in other words, sad songs that are still danceable.
