After making a name for himself in 2018 with his micro cat-eye glasses, George Keburia arrives with a new collection of maximalist eyewear.

Keburia is back with a surprising campaign for its new maximalist glasses

Keburia is a women’s clothing and accessories brand based in Tbilisi, Georgia. The designer founded his brand in 2015, but his journey with eyewear started a year later, when the brand presented its first sunglasses made of bamboo, a material not at all common in the eyewear world.

Then, in 2018, the designer focused on micro cat-eye silhouettes. Elongated, thin, allowing to see the eyes through the lens, the glasses in multiple colors conquered the hearts of celebrities like Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, or the Kardashian family. Such was the impact of the silhouette that a lot of imitations of the model proliferated in the market.

Now, after a few years without making much noise in the eyewear world, KEBURIA is giving the mask style glasses their turn. The frame length of the sunglasses is 19 cm and, due to the 12° curvature, the frame wraps around and goes beyond the face following the features of the face like a shadow. This shape makes the sunglasses different from the classic cat-eye silhouettes we are used to seeing.

The goal of this new collection was to create a design where it was the accessory that would transform and elevate the entire look, and not just a tool to protect the eyes from the sun.

The new KEBURIA sunglasses are made of acetate and 100% UV protection lenses. They are available in the brand’s website in a range of colors such as black, scarlet red, off-white, semi-transparent bright yellow and white.
