Keith Haring’s iconography in the new Dr. Martens proposal

Dr Martens celebrates the iconic artist of the eighties in its new collection inspired by the socio-political works of Kaith Haring and his significance in pop culture.

Haring’s graphic motifs illustrate the proposal that includes the mythical 1461 Derby shoe in two versions. Some are dressed in white leather with the characters from the artistic archive, and others in black, accentuated with the angels and the abstraction of the creative.

The next iteration of the menu comes with the iconic Martens 1460, also with Keith’s drawings printed in tonal ink to generate contrast. The same shape is also proposed with the artist’s perhaps most exploited graphics from history.

Keith Haring x Dr. Martens’ capsule collection will be released on January 22nd, both through its e-commerce portal and various offline outlets. The price will vary between 65 and 160 dollars.
