Kenzo’s ‘SUNRISE CHASING’ draws on science fiction metaphors

The Fall/Winter 2024 campaign directed by Nigo imagines a galaxy far away where the proposal is presented on a lunar landscape.

Photographer Lengua, whose work explores and challenges conventional ideas of nature, has been commissioned to immortalise the latest creative idea starring a carefully cast cast cast of actors, in which a Western-Eastern dialogue is established. A conversation between the earthly and the galactic based on silhouettes and motifs suspended in a futuristic framework, maintaining the elegance and codes of Kenzo.

The soleil plissé dress pays homage to solar motifs and is complemented by workwear in weave print and Japanese hakeshi baten bomber jackets. Cargo trousers and metallic bodysuits adorned with sequins fit with the earthy idea of travel that takes over the starry logos known under the title KENZO Constellation.
