The French luxury conglomerate has created the Kering Beauté division to spearhead the launch of a cosmetics line for Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Pomellato and Qeelin.
Kering, a company specialising in the luxury sector that stands out in the industry as the parent company of such renowned fashion houses as Gucci, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent, has announced the creation of a “Kering Beauté” beauty division within its structures.
In this way, it will try to boost the development of the “beauty” product category of its various fashion and jewellery houses in an organic way, and which has just been placed under the control of the Italian senior executive Raffaella Cornaggia, former executive of Estée Lauder.
In this respect, they add, “Kering is confident” that the development of this part of its business “can create value for the Group and for its houses”, on the basis of “each of their unique identities”, and in a “way that is fully consistent with their strategies and market positioning”.
