Through a virtual catwalk, Kiko Kostadinov presented his experimental proposal for FW21. Within the framework of menswear design, the bulgarian creative took disparate references ranging from the sci-fi of “A Dream of Wessex” to the cultural concepts of the writer Mark Fisher.
The result weaves all that culture into a collection that explores hauntology: the ghostly return of elements from the past. In fact, many of the seemingly futuristic or innovative garments actually make reference to classic tailoring techniques.
Between color block pieces, layering or prints, bouclé jackets in geometric panels coexist with utilitarian nylon parkas, cricket jumpers, or trousers inspired by gardening aprons.
Kostadinov returns to deconstruct garments and archetypes through this fashion show with 30 looks. However, if you visit the brand’s website you will be able to discover 60 more.
