Kim Kardashian is in Fortnite

Kim is their new signing for the Icon Series.

Fortnite brings pop culture and gaming together once again with its latest addition to the Icon Series: Kim Kardashian. The star and entrepreneur arrives in the battle royale on 13 December with a collaboration that blends digital fashion, viral aesthetics and some of her most iconic moments.

Epic Games announced the collection with a teaser starring Kim herself. The set includes three skins that reinterpret some of her most famous looks. Players will be able to choose between a fur coat, a SKIMS Suit inspired by her shapewear brand, and a leather suit with a futuristic feel. Each outfit offers more than eight additional styles, with hairstyle changes and details that allow for many different combinations.

The bundle also includes back bling, two gliders and an emote that is set to be a favourite with the community. It is a Fortnite version of her most viral cover for Paper Magazine. Here, the champagne bottle is replaced by a Chug Jug, a fun nod to the game.

With this partnership, Fortnite once again demonstrates its power to attract global figures and connect with today’s culture. The arrival of Kim Kardashian reinforces the relationship between fashion, celebrity and digital identity, and is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about launches of the month.
