Kim proves once again that for her the sky is the limit. She opens a new episode in her multifaceted career as executive producer of the upcoming docuseries about Elizabeth Taylor, which she will also star in alongside an all-star cast.
The series ‘Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar‘, commissioned by the BBC, will take a fresh look at the life of one of the last golden age stars of classic Hollywood who built the archetype of the modern celebrity. An iconic personality who experienced a meteoric rise from a young age to major soap opera roles that made her the highest paid actress of her time.
The documentary makers will focus on her charity and humanitarian work as well as her status as a business mogul, including a much broader spectrum of interviews with her family, friends and other celebrities such as Dr Anthony Fauci, Dame Joan Collins and Margaret O’Brien, who will share their views on Taylor.
For her part, Kim, who conducted the last interview with Taylor before her death, will discuss her relationship with the actress, and will step into the role of executive producer alongside Kari Lia and Hamish Fergusson. “Elizabeth Taylor was an uncompromising fighter,” says the pop icon. “She’s proof that you can keep evolving and changing and have different chapters in your life – and she paved the way for all of us who came after her with that model.”
‘Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar‘ is currently in production and does not yet have a release date.
