Kodak x Knickerbocker come together in a capsule full of nostalgia, referencing old advertisements and clippings from the 1930s.
New York’s Knickerbocker has just launched an entire capsule dedicated to the founding years of The Eastman Kodak Company. The brand is known for its style inspired by military and utilitarian garments.
Referencing vintage advertisements, the collection delves into the Kodak archives to create a collection with the brand’s urban sensibility combined with a photographer’s need for utility.
Jackets, polo shirts, shorts, waistcoats, caps and t-shirts, the capsule features a complete uniform inspired by the cameras of the 1930s. They also use the football jersey pattern of the 1921 Camera Work team.
Priced from $48 to $250, the Kodak x Knickerbocker capsule is available now from the brand’s online shop. Check out the lookbook for the collection above.
