Eyewear that fits in your pocket and a wrist more diva than you?
Yes, Gentle Monster has just launched its 2025 Pocket Collection, a line of foldable glasses. And to add a little more glam to the whole thing, the South Korean brand has teamed up with Bratz® for one of the silhouettes in the collection. Check it out!
The collection features 21 silhouettes ranging from minimal metal frames to glasses without lenses (because seeing is secondary if you look divine). Everything is designed to fold up -literally- and slip into your pocket.
Among the pieces is a direct collaboration with Bratz, accompanied by a limited edition doll that you could very well put on your personal altar at home.
The campaign, starring AESPA member Karina, takes us to a future where dolls look at you, judge you and outdo you. A post-human story with sci-fi overtones, where a humanoid robot has a better outfit than you.
To celebrate, the brand is activating pop-ups in Los Angeles, Seoul, Shanghai and Bangkok with an installation that looks like something out of a dream shared by Barbie and Björk: a giant, interactive and almost living Bratz doll, surrounded by the collection as if they were objects of desire on a spaceship.
And no, you don’t need to be 10 years old to get excited about the launch. You just need a stable WiFi connection to get your hands on some on May 30 in the online store.
Gentle Monster will create smart glasses together with Google.
