Lacoste and Highsnobiety have collaborated to bring back the super limited L003 2K24 Highsnobiety 2K24 Highsnobiety shoe and apparel collection, bringing together the best ingredients of fashion and tennis.
The first version of the L003 2K24 trainer combines the class of tennis, the je ne sais quoi of French fashion and unconventional luxury. Taking Lacoste’s iconic tennis legacy as a starting point, cultural media and lifestyle brand Highsnobiety has added its shades of new luxury and youth culture to the upcoming L003 2K24 for an elevated take on the conventional sports silhouette.
The L003 2K24 itself is an evolution of the L003 Neo, and while the Neo took fashion as its focal point, adding sporting influences to its base. Highsnobiety takes these sporting essentials, elevating them to a higher level with unique, premium touches. The dense suede, reinforced mesh, plush lining, embroidered logos, tan leather tongue and burnished leather overlays.
The shoe follows sport-tech codes and features a multi-panelled upper with features such as ballistic nylon, mesh and a cushioned sole. The EVA sole with TPU reinforcement for stability is coupled with a rubberised upper with running-inspired studs to ensure slip-resistance, while adding a contemporary and eye-catching look to the shoe.
The minimalist colour palette of this first release of the L003 2K24 is inspired by the “Shades of Tennis” concept. Mixing the relaxed colours of the clay and grass courts of the Grand Slams with touches of green reminiscent of the iconic Lacoste logo, it evokes a classic and contemporary feel. As if Lacoste created their iconic polo shirt for your feet. It would look like this.
Accompanying the L003 2K24 Highsnobiety is an apparel collection that continues the “Shades of Tennis” theme in the form of a new version of the iconic polo shirt, along with a T-shirt, sweatshirt, sweatpants, cap and socks. The garments are presented in a cream shade evoking the colours of the shoe, while the white T-shirt evokes the nostalgia of the 90s.
The collaboration launches on Highsnobiety.com on 31 January, and on Lacoste.com and other selected outlets such as FOOT DISTRICT on 2 February.
