Lacoste celebrates its 90th anniversary at the 30th edition of Sónar

For the first time in its history, Lacoste has teamed up with a music festival, and it does so with none other than Sónar, one of the most beloved and eagerly awaited events on the international scene.

In keeping with its commitment to liberate movement in its communities while remaining faithful to the elegance promoted by its founder René Lacoste, the brand will materialise its union with the festival on 15, 16 and 17 June at the Fira de Montjuïc. It will be in this emblematic space where the two anniversaries will take place: the 90th anniversary of Lacoste and the 30th anniversary of Sónar.

For this occasion, beyond its yearning for an introspective journey, Lacoste pays tribute to all those communities that promote the spirit and values of the brand around the world. The music scene has played a key role locally for the crocodile brand, which continues to unleash the concept movement pioneered by René Lacoste.

The design of the official Sónar 2023 bag is the most significant example of this union. Through vibrant colours and a distinctive elegant sobriety of refined lines, the firm presents itself as the definitive ally of Sónar, with whom it shares this commitment to remain faithful to its origins.

Durante Sónar by Day, Lacoste contará con un espacio exclusivo diseñado para recuperar fuerzas y recargar móviles dentro del recinto exterior de Sónar Village. Also noteworthy is the collaboration with Alex Barau, photographer and Lacoste collector, who will capture the essence of all these unforgettable days with analogue snapshots. He will also present his work on the screens of the space as part of the exhibition ‘Through The Eyes OF A Lacoste Collector’.
